Serving Catawba County
Septic installation, repair and pump servicing in Catawba County's seat — for Newton homes from downtown out to the Maiden and Claremont lines.
Full-Service Septic
Newton sits in the middle of Catawba County, bordered by Conover, Hickory, Claremont and Maiden, and its edges blend into rural land outside town limits where homes rely on private septic. Semper Septic handles new installs for lots being built on, repairs on older systems near town, and pump and control panel servicing throughout the Newton area.
Installation, repair and pump, float and control panel servicing all fall under one NC Level 4 license, and every Newton job is evaluated, quoted and overseen by owner Jared Huneycutt himself.

Newton has been Catawba County's seat since its founding in 1845, and its 1924 courthouse now houses the Catawba County Museum of History. The city counted 13,148 residents in 2020. It calls itself 'The Heart of Catawba County' — fitting for a town bordered by Conover to the north, Hickory to the northwest, Claremont to the northeast and Maiden to the south. NC 16 runs through as Main Street, past the Downtown and North Main Avenue historic districts.

Local Insight
In a county seat like Newton, word of mouth carries weight — but verify it. A licensed contractor can show NC on-site wastewater certification and insurance, and should explain the Catawba County permit steps without hesitation.
Do I need the whole system replaced? Many Newton owners start with that worry. Often the problem is one part — a line, a distribution box, a float — and a proper on-site diagnosis keeps the fix proportional.
Newton homeowners get the owner on every job. Jared Huneycutt, a Marine Corps veteran, does the evaluation, explains the options, and stands behind the work under Semper Septic's Level 4 license.
